We are deeply honored to welcome the legendary Tim Williams for an intimate concert as part of our Live in the Community summer series. Known as a local institution—“Calgary’s professor of the blues”

For more than five decades, Tim has been a force in Canadian roots and blues music. Since settling in Calgary in the early 1980s, he’s done far more than perform—he’s helped shape this city’s music scene. A true master of his craft, Tim brings with him not only impeccable musicianship on guitar, slide, dobro, and harmonica—but a deep well of stories, authenticity, and generosity that have inspired generations of artists.

Whether on stage at a major festival or playing to a handful of friends in a garden, Tim’s performances are soul-stirring and unforgettable. His contributions as a mentor, songwriter, and storyteller have left a lasting mark not only on Calgary, but across Canada and beyond.

This concert isn’t just a chance to hear one of Canada’s finest bluesmen—it’s a chance to honour a living legend whose legacy continues to grow, one heartfelt note at a time.
