Some artists just belong in a listening room — and Jay Coda Walker is one of them.
After a warm and memorable first show, we’re genuinely excited to welcome Jay back to Calgary House Concerts. His songs carry heart, grit, and groove — blending folk storytelling, blues soul, Americana warmth, and a touch of rockabilly rhythm that brings energy and lift to the room.
Jay doesn’t rush a performance. He settles in. He connects. His voice carries depth and ease, and his songs feel lived-in — honest reflections wrapped in melody. The first time he joined us, the room leaned forward and It felt less like a show and more like a shared experience.
These afternoons are about gathering — neighbours shoulder to shoulder, listening closely, applauding fully, and remembering why live music matters. And as always, this is a Food Bank Booster Concert. When we gather for music, we also gather to support one another. Donations collected help strengthen local food security, turning an afternoon of art into real community impact.
Jay’s return isn’t just another date on the calendar. It’s another chance to sit in a room together, share songs, and make something meaningful happen beyond the stage.
