Fresh off an appearance at the afternoon jam at the Ship & Anchor on June 2 The Toques are coming to the well-known Calgary House Concerts venue. Following the short set the discerning music audience at The Ship showed their appreciation and surprise with a resounding standing ovation for this collection of young musicians expressed very well by the MC as “Folks, we just had our faces melted off”.

We might be tempted to be charmed by the “Cute Factor” seeing these 3 brothers and their Dad getting up on stage but shortly into their set, we start to realize this is a whole different level of young musicianship.
