With a wit that’s as disarming as it is charming, King of Foxes delivers songwriting charged with curiosity, humour, and a refusal to stay in any one lane—earning a Rock Artist of the Year nomination at the Western Canadian Music Awards and several albums among CKUA’s Top 100 of the year. Guided by the song rather than the rulebook, frontwoman and songwriter Olivia Street takes her place among artists who refuse easy categorization.
Calgary House Concerts welcomes King of Foxes for a special acoustic duo performance, bringing Olivia’s songs into an intimate setting where the songwriting, stories, humour and connection with the audience take centre stage. An Edmonton Music Prize recipient, King of Foxes has toured across Canada, the UK and Japan, sharing stages with artists including Barenaked Ladies, Terra Lightfoot and 54-40, and appearing at festivals including Red Deer Folk Music Festival, Tiny Lights, NXNE, JUNOfest and Taste of Edmonton. This is a chance to experience King of Foxes differently—stripped down, up close, and guided by the songs.
