About Erin Ross

Erin Ross is a Calgary-based musician, educator, and radio host known for her compelling blend of blues, folk, rock, and jazz. With deep roots in Alberta’s music scene since the late 1990s, Erin has built a reputation for her soulful songwriting, expressive guitar work, and dynamic live performances.

In February 2024, Erin released her debut full-length album, The Wind Will Lead Me Home—a confident and beautifully crafted nine-song collection exploring themes of home and belonging. Recorded in Nashville with acclaimed Canadian producer Steve Dawson, the album features top-tier musicians including Dave Jacques (John Prine), Jen Gunderman (Sheryl Crow), Fats Kaplin, and Justin Amaral. The result is a polished yet intimate roots album that showcases Erin’s versatility and emotional depth. I can't tell you how much fun it is to share an afternoon with this talented soul.
