On Sunday of the May long weekend, join us at Winston Heights–Mountview Community Centre for a special performance by the soulful and dynamic duo KINJO & YOUNG — winners of the 2023 YYC Music Award for Blues Recording of the Year and 2024 Western Canadian Music Award nominees for Blues Artist of the Year.

This event marks NCC’s third official concert, building on the exciting momentum of this growing grassroots collaboration.

Presented as an All Ages Food Bank Booster Concert, the event supports the Veterans Association Food Bank, which will be onsite collecting non-perishable food donations and amplifying awareness through their social channels.

This gathering shines a light on food insecurity in our neighbourhoods — offering a heartfelt, accessible way for audiences to give back directly to their community and support the Veterans Association Food Bank, while also providing artists with a real-time emotional and financial boost.

Calgary House Concerts is proud to support the launch of Nose Creek Concerts by serving as lead producer for its inaugural venue series. This joint venture extends CHC’s Live in the Community model into new neighbourhoods, with CHC actively shepherding the setup, production, and promotional systems to help NCC evolve into a self-sustaining, community-powered initiative.
