We are thrilled to welcome Oscar López, the legendary Chilean-Canadian guitarist who has made Calgary his home for more than four decades. Known as the “Master of the Latin String Guitar,” Oscar blends fiery Latin rhythms with the soul of jazz, folk, and flamenco—creating a sound that is as joyful and deeply moving

Over a celebrated career spanning 10 albums, two Juno Awards, and collaborations with artists such as James Keelaghan and Rik Emmett, Oscar has become one of Canada’s most beloved performers. His music is a dance between passion and precision—at once playful, powerful, and profoundly human.

This intimate CHC evening offers a rare chance to experience Oscar up close, where his humor, warmth, and guitar brilliance shine brightest. Expect an afternoon of heart, rhythm, and connection as Oscar takes us on a journey that only he can deliver.
