Calgary House Concerts is delighted to welcome Corin Raymond to the Glendale & Glendale Meadows Community Association on Sunday, September 20, 2026, for an afternoon of songs, stories, humour, heart and community.

Doors open at 2:30 PM. Show starts at 3:00 PM.

Corin is a celebrated Canadian singer-songwriter and storyteller with a remarkable ability to turn everyday people, places and moments into unforgettable songs. His concerts are much more than songs played one after another — the stories, humour and connection between Corin and his audience are a big part of the experience.

His acclaimed album Hobo Jungle Fever Dreams received a JUNO Award nomination for Contemporary Roots Album of the Year, and his songs have been recorded by The Good Lovelies, The Strumbellas, Dustin Bentall, and The Harpoonist & the Axe Murderer.

Then there's the famous Canadian Tire money story.

After Corin discovered that a Toronto recording studio would accept Canadian Tire money toward recording costs, he mentioned it at his shows. Fans responded by bringing and mailing him Canadian Tire bills from across the country. What began as a funny idea grew into an extraordinary grassroots effort connected to his ambitious Paper Nickels project.

Funny, resourceful and uniquely Canadian — it's also a wonderful example of the relationship Corin has built with his audiences.

This is also a Calgary House Concerts Food Bank Booster Concert.

Guests are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item in support of the Veterans Association Food Bank. Great live music brings people together — and together we can do a little extra good for our community.
